Summer is definitely around the corner. The Isotopes are back in town. Families came out to enjoy the warm evening and the Great American Pastime. During the game, we had an unusual wind and dust storm. It suddenly became really dark and ominous looking. Fortunately, things returned to normal fairly quickly.

Tent Rocks – An Ancient Wonder of New Mexico

Tent Rocks is located about 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The site offers an incredible opportunity to see, study and experience the natural process that shaped this amazing landscape. There are numerous hoodoos with boulder caps perched on top protecting the softer pumice below. It’s a trip well worth making.

Springtime in New Mexico!

The Bradley Pears are in bloom. So are the forsythias! Apple trees are blossoming now and the tulips are up! It’s been a lovely spring so far. Now the winds will be gusting to 50mpg today. Snow up north! That’s why we call this the wild Wild West!
